La cathédrale Saint-Etienne commencée au XIIe siècle, achevée au XVIe siècle, est le témoin architectural de l'évolution du style gothique. La flamboyance extérieure et la nef impressionnent, tout comme les doubles collatéraux d'une hauteur exceptionnelle et le choeur rayonnant, splendide chef-d'oeuvre du XIIIe siècle.

Chaque été, un très grand spectacle historique s'y déroule à la tombée de la nuit.
